G's 4th Birthday

So there's a little girl that I'm totally in love with.  I could not ask for a more wonderful daughter than my little G!  She's so sweet, loving, compassionate, smart, curious, personable, talkative, silly, & beautiful!  She loves anything art (no clue where she gets it), gymnastics,
swimming, playing with her 'babies' (dolls), books, playgrounds, & puzzles.
And, these are late, but as promised- pics from her 4th Birthday!
**Note: Probably way too many photos than you care about! ;)

------------------------------------------------------------

I thought the kids were at a good age to start some fun 'traditions.'
So, here is G the night before her 4th birthday, sleeping on a "Happy Birthday" pillowcase
I made.  (*They came in a set of two.  I used the other pillow case to make a
Happy Birthday banner for the back of her breakfast chair at the table.  And the little
matching bag they came in?  I wrote on it to coordinate & figured that each year,
we'd put one little gift in it to unwrap the night before.)

With both of her 'adopted' Cabbage Patch babies:

Good morning, 4 year old!  (*Adorable tutu made by my mom- Noni!)

G's big present this year: a desk I got at a consignment sale (solid brown at the time).  I painted it in a couple of late nights.  It even has a little seat attached!
She loves it & it gives her a great space to do her art, workbooks, etc.

Much of the family couldn't make her party later in the week & I wanted to do something on her actual bday, so we had a pizza lunch out!  Very fun!

Apparently no one liked the pizza:

This guy decided he loved Greek salad!

Opening gifts with Daddy

Sweet cousin hugs!

G desperately wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese's.  She had only been twice before for friends' birthdays, but she had been talking about it ever since...for nearly a year!  So, we asked a couple of our best buddies to join us for a couple hours of fun!

Meeting Chuckie was definitely a highlight!

It's not like his mom & I are planning their Prom or anything.  Well...

Brave girl!

Daddy stopped by after work!

We just love our friends!! Thanks for making her day so special!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

G's bday fell midweek, so we celebrated the following weekend w/ friends.  She invited a few close friends & a couple of family members to a Baby Doll party/lunch!  The girls were so cute w/ their babies & minature tea sets.  * Note: G thinks she's big stuff w/ her new *real* camera!!  What a great idea.  It really takes digital pics & videos that can be uploaded on your computer.  And, she takes some good shots too! ;)

The 'big' girls sipped their 'tea' from real teacups. (Uh hum, apple juice...)

Pretty excited!  With her newest baby, Orangy Pink-
recently adopted from the Cabbage Patch Hospital.

What sweet friends!

That's my girl!  Totally excited about her first gift card to a store!

What a face! ;)  Found these hats, plates & napkins at the Cabbage Patch Hospital too!

She loves her Noni!

*** I certainly don't claim to be anything close to a baker, but I did make these cupcakes.  You don't even want to hear about the ordeal there.  Well, actually, you'd probably enjoy the story, but I can't bring myself to relive it.  Let's just say they were finished by 1:00 am the night before.  And it wasn't pretty.  However, 6 of the cupcakes turned out okay cute- enough for G & friends.  They were baby faces w/ real pacifiers.  I know I have a pic of them, but can't find them.  Maybe it's better that way...  ;)

Thanks for all your help, Auntie Deana!

Her sweet friend, R, from school!

And, L is a good friend we get to see almost weekly!  G was thrilled to take her waterproof Dora for a swim in the square's center fountain!  Yes, she's wearing a 'real' bathing suit!

All but one of the girls!

The three amigas from school...so cute!

S has been a friend for 2 years now!

I'm super proud to be her Mommy, to say the least.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whew!  I'm tired just looking at all of the 'celebrating'!  =)

It was worth it.  She had a great time!

Happy 4th Birthday, Little Bit!
We love you!

~ 6 in Love ~
